Helping You Build a Life Beyond Anxiety
Specialized Therapy for Anxiety and OCD
Licensed in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia
Leila Jelvani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She supports individuals experiencing panic, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, and OCD.
Leila believes therapy works best when it feels collaborative, safe, and genuine. She partners closely with clients to understand their experiences, clarify what feels most important, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right. Her approach is thoughtful and practical, helping clients develop tools that not only reduce symptoms but also support a more fulfilling and connected life.
Her clinical work is informed by evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.
Leila earned her Master of Social Work with a focus on behavioral health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and completed advanced training in ERP for OCD through the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.
In therapy, clients are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. This is a space to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
